Elite Dividend Tracker (“EDT”, “the App”) is designed to be local-first and privacy-respecting. This Privacy Policy explains what data is and is not collected when you use the App.
1. Portfolio & Financial Data
Elite Dividend Tracker stores your portfolio data locally in your browser or app storage.
This may include:
- Holdings
- Dividend schedules
- Quantities
- Projections
- Portfolio settings
This data:
- Is stored locally on your device
- Is not transmitted to EDT servers by default
- Is not visible to the creator of EDT
You are responsible for exporting backups if you want to preserve your data across devices, browser resets, app reinstalls, or storage clearing.
2. Payments (Pro Features)
Website payments for Pro features may be processed by Stripe. Native iOS purchases, when available, are processed by Apple In-App Purchase. RevenueCat may be used to manage subscription and entitlement status.
EDT does not store your full credit card or billing details.
Payment providers may collect personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
3. Server Verification
To verify Pro purchases, the App may send a purchase, checkout, or entitlement identifier to a secure server endpoint or payment entitlement provider.
The verification flow:
- Verifies purchase or entitlement status
- Returns confirmation of Pro status
- Does not transmit portfolio data
4. Analytics & Tracking
Elite Dividend Tracker does not:
- Track your portfolio activity
- Use advertising trackers
- Sell user data
- Share portfolio information with third parties
If analytics tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
The App uses local storage to:
- Save portfolio data
- Store selected plan
- Store Pro verification state
- Store UI preferences
Clearing local storage will remove this data.
6. Data Security
Because portfolio data is stored locally:
- You control access to your data
- Security depends on your device and browser/app environment
EDT cannot recover lost data if you clear storage without a backup.
7. Children’s Privacy
Elite Dividend Tracker is not directed toward children under 13. No knowingly collected personal data from children is stored by EDT.
8. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the product evolves. Updates will be reflected by a revised “Last updated” date.
